FAQ

Short answers for questions that cut across Help. How-tos live in the other sections. Prices live on Pricing. Contracts and policies live under Legal.

What is Law1? {#what-is-law1}

Law1 is a paid legal-research service for Indian case law, with a tax focus. It is a product of Lawone Solutions Pvt Ltd. It is not a law firm. For the research-use warnings, see the Disclaimer.

How do I create an account? {#create-account}

A User is created when you send mail to [email protected] from that address, accept an org invite, or continue with Google. The public Log in form only sends a sign-in code to an email that already has an account. There is no password. Sign-in is email or Google only. More on identity: Account and security.

Do I need an org? {#org}

Yes, to search, read, and keep work. An org is the billing and data boundary. You create one or join with an invite. Search, reads, and meters use the active org only. See Orgs and seats.

How do I sign in? {#sign-in}

Use Log in: email one-time code for an existing account, Continue with Google, or Google One Tap. One Tap also appears on Sign up. You cannot set a password.

How do I contact support? {#contact}

Read Help first, then use the Contact form. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days (India). That mail path is the support surface — not a ticket queue.

Where are prices and plan details? {#pricing}

Numbers, packs, and commercial FAQ live on Pricing only. How billing and plans work in the product is Billing and plans. This page does not repeat those tables.

The Legal hub indexes the contract and notices: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund & Cancellation, and the rest. FAQ does not restate those pages.

What if I see an error code? {#error-codes}

Quote it. Meanings and what to do are on Error codes. The Contact form’s Access/errors category is for product errors (failed reads, limits, bot checks). Prefill is allowed, for example /contact?category=access&code=BODY_NOT_FOUND.

How do I request an access summary of my personal data? {#access-summary}

Email [email protected] from the address you sign in with (Account also has that mailto). You receive a plain-English summary, not a file dump. That is not the Contact Access/errors category. Policy: Privacy Policy.

Can I delete my org? {#delete-org}

Not in the product. The last remaining Owner emails [email protected]. There is no Delete org control. See Orgs and seats.

How do I delete my account? {#delete-account}

Delete my account on Account. If you are the last remaining Owner of any org, that control is blocked until you Make owner or we tear down the org after you email [email protected]. See Account and security.

Who can use Law1? {#who-can-use}

People who are 18 or older. See the Terms of Service.

No. Using Law1 does not make us your advocate. Read the Disclaimer and the Terms of Service.
