Disclaimer

Effective 1 May 2026

This page is the research disclaimer for the Law1 legal-research service at https://law1.in (the Service). It is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000. It does not need a physical or digital signature.

The Terms of Service are the contract. This page states the research-use warnings those Terms point to. It does not replace the Terms. It does not set a second liability cap, money policy, or dispute clause.

1. Who we are

LAWONE SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED (we, us, Law1, or Lawone Solutions Pvt Ltd) operates the Service.

Registered office: 2nd Floor, A417, Lane 4, Road no 28, Ramnagar, Wagle Estate, MH, 400604, India. CIN: U58122MR2026PTC481366.

Law1 is an online legal-research tool. It is a professional research aid. We are not a law firm. We do not practise as advocates.

Other legal pages: Legal hub.

The Service is not legal advice. Nothing on Law1 — a judgment, headnote, issue, citation, search result, or any other material we host — is advice on your facts.

Using Law1 does not create an advocate–client or other professional relationship with us. It does not make us your advocate, counsel, or adviser.

You must apply your own professional judgment. If you need advice, instruct an advocate or other professional who is entitled to give it.

3. Public records; delay; not a certified copy

Judgments and orders we host are public records. We do not claim copyright in the raw judgment as delivered by the court. See the Terms of Service (section 9), including section 52(1)(q) of the Copyright Act, 1957.

Our hosting of a judgment is not a certified copy. It is not the court record. It is not the gazette.

We may be delayed or incomplete relative to the court or the gazette. We do not promise that any particular judgment, issue, citation, or feature will be available at any time. We do not promise that the corpus is complete.

Verify anything material against the certified court record, the gazette, or another primary source before you rely.

4. Errors; editorial may be wrong

Errors are possible. Text may be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date, or wrongly attributed. Search may miss a case or surface the wrong one.

Headnotes, extracted issues, Law1 citations, and our selection and arrangement are our editorial, not the court’s. Intellectual property in that editorial is described in the Terms of Service (section 9). Editorial can still be wrong. Do not treat it as a substitute for reading the order.

You must verify primary sources.

If you spot an error, write to [email protected] or use Contact. Telling us does not create a duty to correct on any timetable. It is not an SLA.

5. No liability for reliance; no SLA

The Service is provided as is and as available, as the Terms of Service (section 12) say.

We are not liable for your reliance on the Service or on any judgment, issue, citation, headnote, or other editorial we host. You must verify primary sources.

There is no uptime, support, or plan-tier service-level agreement. We do not promise a percentage of availability. We do not offer service credits. Any indication of reply time on Contact is an operational aim only. It is not a warranty and not an SLA.

Limits on our liability, including the cap, are only in the Terms of Service (section 13). This page does not set a second cap.

If you are a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, nothing on this page takes away a right that Act does not allow us to take away. Law1 is offered primarily as a professional research tool for Orgs. That posture does not strip a User who is a consumer of non-excludable rights.

6. Removal

When we unpublish or redact a judgment, and when we will not, is stated on Case and content removal. This page is not a second removal policy.

We do not offer a private “right to be forgotten” for a person named in a public order. A name in a published court order is a public record. See also the Privacy Policy.
